About
From a very young age Felicia took a shining to all things musical; through her teenage years she got to play roles from Scaramouche in We Will Rock You, to Kim in Miss Saigon, Grizabella in CATS and Maria in West Side Story. Alongside her studies Felicia also pursued classical training which concluded in achieving a distinction in Grade 8 singing (ABRSM), as well as taking the formal grades in piano and flute. At the age of 18 Felicia went on to train in Musical Theatre at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland where she learned to refine her abilities and graduated having played the role Martha in Spring Awakening, as well as multiple parts in London Road and Sideshow. Despite dedicating her professional studies to Musical theatre, Felicia holds a strong passion for singing Jazz; taking inspiration from Ella Fitzgerald and Nina Simone. Felicia has mastered her own unique but classic sound that can sing through the jazz standards to her own written material and arrangements.
Throughout the years Felicia has had several teaching jobs in music: starting out as a singing teacher for Stagecoach Early Stages, then going on to be a vocal coach for local youth theatre productions and most recently a teacher at Gymboree Play & Music UK.
This year Felicia has started FSG Vocals, not only to offer her services and gain more experience as a solo performer, but also to teach aspiring singers of any level, whatever the end goal may be: strong technique, repertoire, musicality and performance skills.
